PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia (known as Semen Andalas Indonesia) a subsidiary of world leader in cement manufacturing and building material having its operation in Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau and Batam invites you to join our team to be based in Medan – North Sumatra as :

Accounting Manager (Code: AM)
(Medan)

Responsibilities:

Reports to Financial Controller, the candidate is responsible to :
Assist in ensuring all accounting operations are complied with the Company and Group policy.
Assist in managing the accounting staffs.
Ensure all manual journals are reviewed prior to enter to the GL.
Ensure all accounts are properly reviewed and monitored.
Ensure all invoices are correctly and timely issued to business partners.
Assist in preparation of the Financial Statements (accurate and timely).
Assist in liaising with the auditor in order to ensure that the audited account is accurately and timely issued.
Assist in preparing and ensuring that reports to the Management and the Group are accurately and timely submitted.
Assist in budget and forecast preparation.

Requirements:

Must possess at least Bachelor degree from recognized university majoring in Accounting/Finance
Have minimum 7 years working experience in Accounting or Min. 2 year in Manager Level.
Must be hands on in solving problem and avoid short cut and short-term solutions.
Must be strong in detail and number crunching.
Possess good knowledge of Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and Tax.
Knowledge/experience with Accounting/Financial software (SAP, JDE, PICKS).
English proficiency, computer literacy and can operate Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and Power Point).
