Mechanical & Electrical Engineers

(Sumatera Utara)

Responsibilities:

Proposals are sought from suitably qualified and experienced engineers to provide professional services to a steel/ foundry manufacturing company in Indonesia.
A small team of locally trained staff designs, constructs and commissions specialised process equipment for the company, which manufactures fabrications, machined parts, forgings and castings.

The roles of the position include :

Assistance in the design and construction of custom made equipment and products,
Recommendations for improvements to existing equipment
Training and mentoring of the local team
Responding to technical inquiries in general and in detail where requested, from your home base.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Staffs specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent. Job role in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
Have a desire to support, train and mentor a young.
English speaking team.

It is envisaged that 12-24 weeks attendance per year at the plant will be needed for adequate personal contact and for your understanding of the manufacturing environment and processes employed.
