Responsibilities:
- Proposals are sought from suitably qualified and experienced engineers to provide professional services to a steel/ foundry manufacturing company in Indonesia.
- A small team of locally trained staff designs, constructs and commissions specialised process equipment for the company, which manufactures fabrications, machined parts, forgings and castings.
- Assistance in the design and construction of custom made equipment and products,
- Recommendations for improvements to existing equipment
- Training and mentoring of the local team
- Responding to technical inquiries in general and in detail where requested, from your home base.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Staffs specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent. Job role in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
- Have a desire to support, train and mentor a young.
- English speaking team.
It is envisaged that 12-24 weeks attendance per year at the plant will be needed for adequate personal contact and for your understanding of the manufacturing environment and processes employed.
