Our client is a Multinational Mining company. They are currently looking for:

Logistic Distribution Manager (LDM)
Based in Medan

Requirements:

Male, 30-40 years old
Bachelor or Master Degree in any major (S1 graduated from any reputable university in Indonesia or overseas) and able to be developed as future Supply Chain or Logistic Manager taking care of Terminals, Shipping, and Trucking.
Minimum 8 years relevant experiences in logistic or related field and having 3 years in managerial level and leading peoples.
Good leadership skill, good communication skill, able to multi task and good in planning.
Have a good knowledge of logistic administration, and supply chain management
Strong understanding of the distribution channel and system, Truck/land and sea transport management
Knowledge of cement manufacturing and distribution is an advantage
Have a basic legal aspect on shipping, land transport, logistic and distribution
Willing to be relocated to Medan

Scope of Job:

Managing Safety working condition for group of transporters to achieve BU target zero accident.
Maintain and improve logistic for cement dispatched
To initiate sales : indicating targeted market area for piloting projects along with Sales and Marketing Head, transporter selection, organizations, dispatch control activity, etc.
To lead and manage the team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of daily cement dispatched.
Develop plans and budgets
Maintain excellent relationship with core transporters to ensure smooth delivery to the customers at reasonable freight rates.
Interact with other divisions particularly manufacturing and sales to ensure the distribution unit effectively supports the cement business.
Improve mapping of current customers and expand database
Create and maintain good relationships with Manufacturing, sales and distribution divisions
Reduce cost and improve logistic functions
