SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT ADVISOR- Aceh based
Control Risks are currently seeking an experienced, motivated Security Management candidate to advice clients in Aceh.

As Security Advisor, you will work under the direction of a Senior Crisis and Security consultant and provide an optimal level of security for our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall security of an operation, lead a security team and drive strategic initiatives.

The position requires an individual between 30-45 years old, with strong interpersonal skills, a sound knowledge of security and risk management, and a willingness to work in a challenging environment.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

Adhere to, and support the Security strategy, policy and initiatives
Drive new strategic risk management initiatives
Implement a Security Management capability that will ensure protection of people and prevention of asset & material loss.
Ensure that any loss is investigated in a proactive manner, to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Ensure that all security personnel are equipped, trained and qualified to respond to potential “breach of security” incidents in an appropriate manner.
Implement the necessary programs and reporting functions that will facilitate timely reporting of incidents, costs, training schedules and commitment forecasts.
Security risk reviews
Establish and deliver plans that provide internal and external security
Develop the Security Risk Management plan
Working with clients, internal resources and key stakeholders to develop security strategies that meet the needs of the client
Develop strong relationships and work with local communities, Police, Military and Security Forces to develop intelligence capabilities

To be successful in this role, you must posses the following:

Proven Security Management experience
Experience with security operations, community relations and project development
Strong relationship building skills
Strategic thinking
Strong electronic and physical security experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service focus
Effective negotiation skills
Good presentation skills
Candidates with a formal education in risk management, such as a CPP designation, are preferred.

Candidates must have higher education, and an excellent command of written and spoken English is essential. A strong command of the local language will be an advantage
